As far as sizes go, I have 275/70R18E's,which equate to 33x10.83R18's, on my truck right now. I wanted to switch to a bit wider of a tire. I was thinking about the following sizes.
285/65R18's=33x11.22R18 or 305/65R18's=34x12.01R18.
I have a bone stock, (except for exhaust, a tuner, and an intake) '11 F250, Supercab XLT 4x4, SWB. No leveling kit, or lift at all. I would love to go with a 34 inch tire. But I think 12.01 might be a bit too wide for the truck. Is anyone running that size tire? I would love to not cut anything.
Yeah they are up there. I've found some ok deals on them looking around on the internet. Best I could find was 1460 for 5 and free shipping. I hope they really would last longer than 60k miles.
I'm running 315/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac on my 2012 F250. They spec on their website 34.4" tall, 12.7" wide. This is on the factory 17" XLT wheels. I have minor rubbing at full steering lock.
I'm running 35x12.50 on stock 18" wheels and have no issues except for slight rubbing at full lock. O am lifted 2 inches front and rear. I have toyo open country at2 and love them. Pretty good tire wear at about 10000 miles but I think any hope of over 60k on trucks this big is very optimistic. I got my tires online and had them shipped, with a road hazard warranty, and installed locally for 1500 for 4
