Don't have a P0611 huh?

Either way the FICM is toast.

And BTW it takes a crap-ton of junk to clog the filters on a 6.0.

Now the question is, why is the truck still running so good? I mean, if the FICM was toast, wouldn't the truck be running like crapola?

The FICM could only be pumping out 25 volts and the truck will run, but it's slowly killing the injectors>

Which means instead of a a $300 repair, you'll have a $2500 repair plus labor.

Well, I don't have any codes but under heavy tow load the voltage dropped on the Scangauge to 44.0. Placed my order for a replacement with the ECO tune (standard head bolts) with Elaine at FICMRepair. Should be here by Thanksgiving. Very exciting stuff! Happy Holidays to all, gm.

One more question-do these codes I previously stated mean low oil or fuel pressure on the injector? When we read the codes, it just said low pressure in the injectors, but the injectors run off oil pressure. So, could the codes be saying low oil pressure, or low fuel pressure?

The codes mean that the voltage coming into the injector coils from the FICM is too low. It doesn't have anything to do with oil pressure. For oil pressure as it relates to combustion, look at Injection Control Pressure. There is no factory fuel pressure gauge or sensor, so no codes can be set from that.

Hope this helps! The upshot is that your FICM is the cause of the issue. Ship it on over and we'll take great care of you!!

Each code says that one of eight fuel injectors has low pressure. We've gone through and done fuel filters. The light went out for five days, but it came back on-same codes. Changed the fuel filters again. The light went out for 11 miles-came back on. We are assuming based on what we've read, that the FICM is where we're heading. For all I know, it might not be the FICM, but, I don't know what else it could be. (My Dad is an "old-school" guy and believes if it's getting fuel, it should run-he loves this truck more than anything and it already seems like more trouble than its worth in his opinion)
Those are low circuit codes and point directly to a FICM problem.

Once the FICM is toasted it like bread you can't un-toast it.

Also I would take the batteries in for a load test. If it got cold and
you started getting problems you may want to check they and
the rest of the charging system.

Yes he will. You won't be happier, unless you add the Econo or Atlas 40 flash on with it, then you'll be

Just one of the things that POP into my head.
Your welcome to use it.
I do have a question. I have me backup FICM in the truck to see if it would work.
It's doing fine. I had a look at the one that came with the truck and the guys at Ford
that "fixed" it did an ugly job on the soldering lots of rosin. Will I need to pay the
added testing fee? it was working before I removed it.

We don't charge a previously worked on fee for professional repairs. When there is evidence that the prior repairer(s) didn't know what they were doing, that's when the fee kicks in since we have to spend the time ensuring that no heat damage occurred.

Well, Good Morning-Dad and I tested the FICM this morning and it read 36 Amps...it all makes sense now. Anyway, I'd like to talk to the man or men at FICMRepair.com, do you have a preferred time, or is whenever good? Thanks. -Taylor
