Hi folks. New to the forum and I've been looking into a few different solutions to a cam phaser problem. Looks like the cheapest/best way to solve it is to lockout the phasers all together, but I'm having trouble touching base with Livernois Motorsports, which is the company that carries them. Just wondering if anyone has input regarding:
A. If the lockouts are the best solution?
B. If Livernois are still in business? And
C. If there are other distributors offering the lockout kits?
I am looking into doing the same thing to my 06 f-150, I have been able to get in touch with livernois, they tells that I will have to buy a kit that has the lockouts and a tuner, that rewrites the timing and turns off all the sensors that have to do with the variable valve timing, $479 for the kit I think the number I've been calling is (313)561-5500
