Cam Phaser Lockouts

Cam Phaser Lockouts
Hey guys has anyone heard of a Livernois Motorsports Cam Phaser Lockout? There is a shop that offers the installation of one of these kits for the 5.4 3V and it says it is a solid Lockout which locks the cam in the fully advanced position. You have to re program the truck with there tool. Has anyone done this? Locked it in the full advanced before? what does this do to the performance of the truck, in the fully advanced position is this like running flat out or lugging up a hill? I have no idea what this means.

Honestly I looked at this when I went to do my cam phasers on my 06 F250, and while It seems like a decent product I looked at it with what benefit would I see from it. And while I do see some advantages they just didn't seem enough of a gain to warrant the cost.
When I decided to do my phasers I wasn't going to go in their twice so I replaced phasers, timing chain, guides, tensioners, oil pump, valve cover gaskets, front cover gaskets and the solenoids etc Ford upgraded there cam phasers and the timing chain guides as well.
I did a lot of research into the phasers and the Ford updated phasers and guides to see if there were any issues with them and most of the folks I talked to hadn't had an issue with the updated phasers.
You can give them a try but for myself personally I didnt see the real advantage to doing the lockouts over just replacing the phasers. I thought about just doing the phasers, but I just thought nope I will do the whole works and then I shouldnt have to go in there again. Havent had any issue and the truck runs very quiet and the performance is great
I would bet that some of the floks here have the kits installed so they may be able to give more insight f they have it installed and how they have made out since they put it in
