I have the one with the speedo in the middle and the four other on the outsides, kind like this one, but older: I've had an aftermarket SunTune attached to the steering wheel column since I got it in 1992. The one I was wondering about is this one: . I just was wondering if I found one for cheap if I could make it look more factory.
There are a few like you want at the boneyard and once installed they look good. Think it over and let me know if you want me to pull one.

The 1st photo is of a PSOM cluster from the 92 to 96 years. It is electronic and has no speedo cable to the transmission.
The 2nd cluster is of the 87 to 91 years(mechanical speedo), but that one is a Diesel cluster. That tach will not function properly in a gas vehicle.
Look for a 87 to 91 year truck that's gas engine and it should be good to go.
Yep, the Diesel tach has the yellow then red lines, but gas tachs don't(from the ones I seen)
At one time I was going to install a Diesel tach in my 89 F250 with the I6 engine(for the cool factor and the I6 engine rarely goes beyond 4K rpm anyway). But I found out it would not read correctly as the diesel tach reads the fuel injector gear teeth instead of spark pulses. It will read too low on a gas engine.

I have not seen 1 diesel at the boneyard so they must last a very long time.

Boon
I think I will hold off for now, but thanks. It's getting a little bit too cold to be working and tinkering on stuff anymore.
Tonight I finally looked into the broken wires for my drivers side seat belt (the dash light comes on for a second or two at startup and goes out with no dinging). Turns out they are broken right where they go into the buckle and one is broken off at the connect by the floor. So for now I took the drivers buckle out and left the middle one bolted in to use.
In a normally working one does the light come on and ding 5 or 6 times when the truck is started without the seat belt buckled? And then does it just come on for a second or so and go out with no dinging if it is started with the seatbelt on? Tomorrow I will solder new wiring in and such. It has been broken for a few years now so if it gets messed up somehow soldering I won't be too mad.
The plastic around the belt got brittle and cracked years ago, so my dad cut it out down by the seat because it was sharp. I'm fairly sure the wires just got bent around when it was used after that and then eventually broke off.
Most are cut intentionally to shut the dinger up. Lol.
That's what my dad told me he never fixed it lol. I've really never been annoyed by the dingers in these trucks, so I don't mind it. The wiring is so thin though, I can see why they would break

Sorry for hijacking the thread guys...
No worries mate!
The entire swap; removing the installed cluster to installing a different one is a 30 minute job providing it is a "plug and play".
