flywheel resurfacing?

flywheel resurfacing?
I own a '65 F100 that was heavily abused in a previous life. I have the tranny out at the moment, and pulled the clutch for a visual inspection.
and, i should have guessed...the flywheel is discolored, and has hairline cracks in it.
i know resurfacing can take care of the discoloration...but what about the cracks?

The cracks will simply depend on how deep they are.
When I took mine in, the guy behind the counter said, "nope, can't do it" before I even got half way from the door. He could see the cracks from there. I believe he said they couldn't be over an inch in length.
Either way though, the cost of a new one was only twice the cost of having it resurfaced. $35 vs $70. ish
