yet another tire size question

Sorry guys I know this has been covered several times before. My searches have come up empty though. I will be installing a leveling kit next weekend and I have my new 18's in the garage. What is the biggest tire I can fit without having to modifying the bumper or fender liner?

from what I have read you can fit a 35" tire on their but might have some rubbing going on when you have the wheel turned all the way left or right from the tire to the leaf spring. On the back no problem. A 33" may be the way to go.

I think 33" is about the limit, but maybe more with leveling. Stock is 31", I think. I was levelled (front add-a-leaf), and had 285's (33" OD) on the stock wheels with no rubbing. Pulled the leaf, and still have no rubbing lock to lock. Your 18"s might be a different story depending on what offset they have. I've seen some wheels with offsets to allow for larger tires on stock or slightly lifted rigs.

I just put 35" on stock rims with a leveling kit. Fills out the wheelwell, and looks great, no problems rubbing as of yet. Got nittos from tirebuyer.com, made in USA.

Depends on the backspacing, I have 35's on aftermarket 16x8's with no problem. I had a friends stock '05 18's on for a few days and they rubbed like crazy on the springs.

Thanks for the responses guys. I was going to go with 305/60/18 but I want as much height as possible so I think I'll go with 275/70's. Mickey Thompson atz's.

What size were those exactly. My 305/55/20 nittos rub the liner when turning.

I believe 275/65R/18 are very close to 33" over all dia. this will give you enough room for some wheel travel without having to modifiy anything. You could probably go a little bigger but you might rub on compression of the suspension or on full turn.I have the 275s and they are fine.

315/75-16 10 ply.
My zone leveling kit made it sit too high in the front for me, so I put blocks in the rear from a F-350. Now it has a slight rake, and the tires fill the wells out nicely.

I have the leveling kit and 350 blocks as well. I was wondering if I could go up to 315's on my 20's. My back spacing is prob different though. I might also try 295/60/20 for a little more height and less width.
