tire ?'s

Can I fit 33x13.50 tires on a stock 04 F150 XLT new body style 2wd? Also, will the 13.50 fit on the stock wheels (I think they are 17s)? thanks.

a 33" tall tire...maybe, but must likely with rubbing on full lock

a 33" tall tire with a 2.5" leveling kit...absolutely

not at all with that 13.5" wide tire though. You'll need some extremely offset aftermarket rims to make that work. a 12.5" wide tire barely works with stockers. They are about 1/4" from rubbing the Upper Control Arm

Do the Super Swamper IROK Radials come in 12.50 though? If so, where can I find them?

Also I am confused about these leveling kits... The point of a leveling kit is usually to raise the front of a vehicle so it and the rear sit at the same height right? So does this mean that the tires will fit in the rear but not in the front stock? So I would need to buy a 2.5" leveling kit for the front to make it work all around right?

yes, a stock 4x2 can likely fit 34" tires out back just fine. I know 33" fit 100% without problems

the 2.5" for the front gives you more room for the bigger meats. if you only want 33" tires, then that is all you need. if you want bigger, then there are other parts you'll need to convert.

also, those boggers are not likely to work for you. they are wider than the normal tire (even though say the same size) due to the extreme side lugs. test fit them before you buy

since you are looking for a 33" tire with 17" rim, I suggest you look at the 285/75/17 metric sizes. it's a 33" tire with 11.5" wide footprint. The Wrangler MT/R and the new BFG KM/2 are available in this size....and the BFG KM/2 looks awesome. very aggressive tread like the Boggers, but a better tire in all respects

sorry, it's a 285/70/17 size

but Tirerack.com has them. I would also visit your local Sams Club. I was quoted just under $1,000 for this exact tire at my local Sams. The shipping from Tirerack may be cheaper for you than me though.

But it never hurts to shop around though does it?
