Door locks
Power door locks 99.5 XLT both door locks had an interesting failure at the same time.
Both lock just fine with the button from either side, however neither side unlocks with the button from either side. Happened at the same time.
Ideas?
Bad GEM?

Power locks w/o keyless. Just curious to me that the unlock failed simultaneously both sides. Originally I thought it was just the switch but both switches lock but fail to unlock the doors. Got me curious as to what is going on as I sincerely doubt the unlock side of both switches failed while the truck was parked for the week.

Id check over the wires by the door hinges. My dad's 99.5 had a similar problem and it was a broken wire going to the passenger door. My guess is a wire is shorting out and therefore not sending voltage when hitting the unlock
