I have a complete A/C system out of a 1977 highboy that I'm no going to use. Everything is there, ducting, controls, suitcase, compressor, brackets etc. What is a fair price to ask?
Do what I do to figure out prices, look up those parts that are available from the reproduction businesses LMC, NPD, DC, JB, ect.... and then cut it in half. Remember shipping on the big/heavy stuff will drive the overall price up.
On the none reproduced parts is JY prices....$1 to $100....?? Try putting what you have in the FTE classifieds (after you get 25 posts and sale it).
I'd guess $150 to $500?? overall, besides who would put a used heater core and evaporator(?)in? Those would be new before I put the whole box in.
First off I'd toss the heater core & evaporator into the scrap pile.
Second I'd not waste my time on here cuz at $50 it would be more than most want to openly spend. But they will sure let ya go dig the parts out so they can change their mind 5 minutes after ya find it & send pictures. Lol
Third I'd list it on eBay so that way its seen nation wide. The more eyes that see it the better the chances of a sale.
Forth.... The ac stuff ain't a huge selling thing unless its a mint condition item. Easy enough to order up a complete new system these days

I might would consider it today "out of hand" ..... but I'ld look at where it was made and how well it looked to be made.
In 1986 I stripped two trucks in JYs for all the parts to do my '77, one was a '79, one was a '73. The '79 was a high miles CC work truck just being stripped, the '73 had been rolled once, both systems still had pressure on them when I opened them up.
I reused the '79 evaporator and condenser cores with a new receiver drier, '79 hoses and compressor (mounts fit a 351m/400) and I tested both the the heater cores and the '79 leaked as soon as I put a little air psi in it (it in a bucket of water).
The '73 heater core did not leak then (18 - 20 psi or so) .... nor does it today.
I did use the 73 controls as they have a neat script "Air Conditioning" wrote across them.
