What do you think?
BPD did all the work now here you have
a cheap copy. The intake gasket rubber looks

ok, so how can it be 50 state legal and also be for off-road use only?!

It looks like it uses less tubes, but maybe larger? Quite the deal if it works...

Personally I think all that crap needs to be CLEARLY marked with a country of manufacture. Anybody see one listed?

The one time I wished a law was in place.

They should be required to state country of manufacture/origin.

different tube pattern and the ends are welded. Maybe someone should ask the seller for the CARB exemption number?!

The captive Chinese chickens can only do so much. The poor farmer is too busy
to get the wife pregnant and so he has no children to do the work.

At least he is keeping up on the Q/C because I don't see any chicken poop in the
cooler just poor welding or maybe that is poop.

I did see the 50 states thing when I first posted this and thought "Sure Right"
Until someone looks under the cover and says that is not a kosher part.
They need to go find a EPA high priest to bless the part first.

I ramble tonight and am filling a bit silly.
BTW nothing to drink or any pain meds so look out. I can feel the pain tonight.

Good Chinese Q/C is keeping the chicken poop and feathers out of the parts.

A recent thread hit hard on blanket statements about Chinese quality (lack there-of) and Dormans reputation (poor) with critical components such as the oil and EGR systems.

However, there seems to be ample evidence that it is not worth the risk to try these products. In the thread mentioned above, there are links showing poor quality in soft goods. Why would "materials of construction" or "construction quality" be any better? In todays day and age of look-a-likes and knock-offs, it is practically impossible to assess a parts quality by a simple visual inspection. It is definitely wise to live by the old saying "buyer beware"!

IMO, in jobs such as oil coolers and EGR coolers, the cost of quality parts is just not that much.

Wow at that price its got to be too good to be true. Remember, BPD had issues with the welds while back and they are highly regarded as the top dog in quality. I wouldn't chance it if it is indeed from the 3rd world.

3 of our work trucks have AFE EGR Coolers and all three have been replaced due to cracked welds.
