Hi, my 01 psd IC has the plastic tanks, if I went to an aluminum tanked IC, would it be a direct fit? hoses and all? Would the heat removed be the same, or is something better available? I'm not pushing crazy boost numbers. Thanks, Artieb
If you do a search for "boost leak detector", you can find how to build one for very little money and time. This will allow you to find the true culprit before wildly wafting your wallet.
Thanks Tugly, if my IC isn't leaking, it will at some point, when i get my boost up, i have a crease in the cold sides insert. I need to break my AC this winter and while I'm in the area, replace my IC. I want to be ready for any surprises with boots, etc. I'm sure its a no mod, just making sure, Artieb

If you have the green up front, the "as long as I'm in there" approach has saved me green on the back side on more than one occasion. Inspection of pulled parts has shown impending doom was averted.
