It looks like the rear shoes are getting close to the rivets. What special tools will I need to do the front disc pads and rear shoes by myself. Any thing to look out for etc. Any particular shoes and pads that I should get ???
Also recently the ABS light went on, and I can tell the antilock is not working. Otherwise the brakes work like new. I am thinking thatt maybe I will just not get the ABS fixed.
If I decide to get the ABS fixed would it best to go to the dealer or is it something I can diagnose and fix myself, if so how. About how much should I expect to pay at the dealer to fix ABS ???
The fronts are only two bolts once the wheel is off. The rears are a little harder since you have a few springs to remove/install, check out my tech info post at the top of the page and the link on rear brakes. You will need a scanner to pull the code for the ABS problem.
