Rear Brakes
I believe the rear drum brakes on my 1997 F150 with 4 wheel ABS do not stop much. I have to be on wet or dirt road to get the ABS to pulse pedal. I have looked at brake shoes, almost no wear. (30k miles) The dealer checked it (or let it sit on lot) and said everything is fine. Any suggesttions?

I have the same problem with my truck. I have no problems getting the abs to kick in on dry pavement but wet/snow is a diff matter all together. I know this will help, the rear of the truck is 2" higher than the front. If you were to use 2" lowering blocks that would level out the ride and should assist with weight distribution. More of the stopping power of the rear could be transfered to the wheels before the weight transfers to the front and off the rear end.
