1988 f250 brakes

I recently purchased a 1988 f250hd 4wd. It needed front and rear brakes. After front rotors and pads and rear shoes, I get a "rear antilock brake" indicator. I have adjusted the rear brakes and bled the system to no avail. The brakes work fine but the indicator does not go out. My next step is the abs sensor in the rear. Any suggestions first?

We have 3 trucks at work and the Anti-Lock Brakes light comes on and off. One truck the light comes on when the truck has a full load and another truck has the light on when the truck is empty. If the light is on it means you have regular brakes and no Anti-lock. Good luck

Thats what I figured, The more I think about it, I want to check out the ABS control boor whatever it"s called) by the exhaust manifold. We bled it but it didn't help. Maybe I'll bleed the whole system again
