Now I know a replacing a radiator is pretty straight forward but on these particular model it's a little more complicated with the "modular" system, as it seemed overly complicated to me a tech and might be daunting to a DIY. So I made a video of the procedure from start to finish. Hope this helps as this can be a costly repair, but doesn't have to be.
yeah I would say the older ones are more straight forward, but these ones where it's all modular and everything is attached to each other and on top of one another it can get confusing.
I would love to see this for a 2005. Mines leaking and I don't want to get started and find out that I have to remove the whole front clip!
I know that's not what you have to do, but I would like to find instructions. Don't know if it goes out the top or bottom. The autozone website usually has instructions for things. They have it for the radiator, but it's not the 2005.
I haven't checked youtube yet.

Could you send it to me? I'm trying to replace my radiator on my 2005 explorer Eddie Bauer edition(not sure if that matters) but I'm having a hard time with the bottom bolts. I've removed the old radiator and got new 1 in i just can't get the bottom bolts in. I know i probably sound dumb and I'm sure it's easy. I just am having a hard time.
