windows squeal going down.
I've got sun fried weather stripping on the outside of the windows.
This makes them squeal something awful when I'm putting them down.
Also, the windows have verticle scratches from the previous owner just putting em up and down.
Do any of you know how much replacement pieces might cost?
Also, is there a way to rejuvinate the rubber, without making it all greasy?
I COULD spray silicone on them, but that'd make the windows all nasty I'm afraid.
Rubbing alcohol might soften them???
ANy tips or leads on cheap replacements would be appreciated.

Alcohol will dry them severely - worse than soap. Silicone is the recommended lube for all weatherstrips, but if yours are cracking, they're beyond hope. JCWhitney sells replacements, but check Ford's price too.
