Here I go again on this issue. My '04 driver window would squeal when going up or down....dealer replaced entire window track/molding around door window opening. Fixed the squeal, but the new rubber molding looked like crap from wrinkle, stretching, etc.
Now, to today. My '07 is now doing the same squeal on both sides! I do not want 'new' trim/tracks installed because I'm convinced they can't do it like 'factory'. It's worse when it hot and sunny out...vs...rainy or dew.
Has anyone experienced this? Do you have a fix?
My next step is to remove my door panels and 'q-tip' some clear silicone into the tracks on the window edges...as I believe the problem is simply 'dry rubber' which is rubbing the window edges. Rain or high humidity offers just enough 'lube' to prevent all but the slightest squeaks.
Usually when my windows start to squeal it is because they need a good cleaning. I have tinted windows so I use Auto Glass cleaner a couple times on the windw to remove dirt and squeal goes away. It always happens after we go to the lake and I get dust and tree sap on the window. Just cleaned last night and no squeal.
That doesn't seem to work. I clean my truck inside and out every Sat morning before the sun gets up high....it's a black Lariat....sos I gotta watch for spots. Even after a good washdown and window cleaning, it still squeaks, but not as bad due to all the moisture creating a certain amount of 'lube'...or so I would deduce.
After they changed the tracks and trim out on my '04, it never squeaked again....hence my thoughts that it might just need some lubricating along the edges....super thin coat.
Keep in mind I only drive this truck on weekends and the occasional evening. I have Ranger that I drive for work.
On my window it was the pulleys and cables tha were making the noise.
I used a motorcycle cable lube on them and that fixed the problem.
Bad part is you have to take the door panels off to do it.
Hope this helps
You can use some spray silicone lube on the window channels, then run the window up and down a few times. If it is the weatherstrip on the channels, this should help. If not, you may have to remove the door panels and lube the cable and track like FXJim3 says.
I have the same issue with my '06 and it drives me crazy.
I asked my dealer about it back when still under warranty. Claimed there was nothing in particular they could do and said it was primarily due to dirt. That said, when I got it back from service that one time, the squeal was gone for a while to come. Now it is hot and my driver side window is squealing like a pig. I tried spraying a dry lube in the window tracks to no avail, though I possibly used the wrong kind. I plan to take mine in for service tomorrow and ask them to look at the issue again while the truck is there anyway.
I also have the issue with the driver window button sometimes not working. that will be on the hit list too.
How about it.....makes you cringe when it squeals! I'm gonna try lubing everything that moves in there before I allow them to 'replace' the tracks and trim. Like I said, on my '04, it appeared too large for the opening...ie: wrinkled, stretched, etc. Other than this window issue, it's pristine...I don't want them screwing it up.

Post up what you find out tomorrow.
I had the same problem, both windows squeeled like a pig. I took the drives side door panel off. I used multi-purpose lube on the two tracks (both were completely grease free). However, that did not stop the noise but the window did seem to move up and down smoother.
I then used silicone spray on the cables/pulleys. That seemed to help some but it still made a lot of noise. I also sprayed the rubber moulding that goes down inside the door. Still squeeked.
I then removed the outside and inside door trim/seal. I washed and scrubbed it to clean the "felt" then dried it and re-installed. I let it dry over night and when I tried it the next morning the squeeking was finally gone!
I will do the same on the other side when I get some time.
I have the door panel disassembly diagram if you need it let me know. It helped making removal of the door panel really easy.
Okay guys and gals....after a year of living with this squeal....I found the fix. The winter wasn't so bad...don't know why. Had the dealer replace all the window trim/gasket/whatever it is. The kid at the dealer said, "I cleaned the glass real good and poured some soapy water in there to clean the felt stuff". Okay...that lubed it for a day or two...but %&&^*%&, it was back. As spring came on and now summer...it became simply unbearable...to the point I discussed with my wife selling it. So, just the other day I decided to give it my all, at least one time before I got rid of it. Here's what I did:
Pull the panel....the same as the directions mentioned above I guess....don't know, I just went slow about it and did it no problem/no hitch/no nothing. I found the problem..............THE LOWER REAR PULLEY ON EACH FRONT DOOR THAT THE LITTLE CABLE RUNS THROUGH!!!!!! I squirted some Corrosion-X on the first one...tried the window....no squeal. I went ahead and did all the pulleys as well as put some lithium grease on the tracks (which had nothing). It's operates smoother now than it ever has!!! Did the same to the passenger side...found it was the rear pulley as well. How do I know? I operated the window with major squealing (make you cringe)...then I squirted the rear lower pulley...operated it again...absolutely no sound whatsoever other than the normal "swoosh" of the window going down and up.
My back doors are starting to do the same...but I have my business name on the windows and rarely ever use them anyway...so I'll get to it later.
Again...if you have this problem...get the directions to remove the panels and lube those pulleys and throw a little grease on the tracks. Two trucks later...and two trips to the dealer with this one...and I figured it out myself.....and I should "with you guys help as well".

AWESOME! Thank you, thank you thank you! As the temperature has risen, so has the squealing again. Seems to occur predominantly above 80F. Will try your fix soon. BTW, what is corrosion X and where did you find it?
Corrosion-X is a lubricant...supposed to molecularly bond to metal surfaces. I use it on all my guns and fishing equipment. You can get thin, thick, aerosol, pump, squeeze, etc. I get it at a local hardware store...thick for boat trailer hardware and boat electrical connections...thin for simple lubrication. It is really some good stuff.
As for temps....you are experiencing the same as I have....the warmer/dryer it is, the worse it is. When it would rain or I washed it...it wouldn't do it at all or not as bad. Just follow the directions to remove the panel:
-two screws at bottom of panel
-two screws behind little cover under interior door handle
-one screw under window/lock control panel (this pops off)
-remove speaker covers (the silver section on front of door...it pops off as well...be careful, it's delicate) and remove speaker...then pull out bottom two speaker screw retainers.
-lift up on door panel and it comes off.
-pull plastic liner off....to access window hardware....it will stick right back on.
