Suspension squeal
The squeal is sounds like it is coming from the right side mainly but can hear on left side when window is down. Sometimes when I hit a bump on the road it will start to squeal and hit the next bump and it may quit. The next day it may not squeal at all. When it starts to squeal I can sometimes give the wheel a jerk and it will quit or slow down to around 20 mph and it will stop. Then I can speed back up and be fine (quiet as a mouse, untill the next bump).
*I have looked at the brakes (ceramic pads) and then had a shop take a look for me and everyone agrees they are ok.
*I have put the truck in neutral and shut the motor off during the squeal and still it does not stop (making sure nothing with the engine or belt pulley).
*I have inspected for rocks or bent shields-nothing.
*I have replace both front wheel bearing assemblies and still have the squeal.
*I have looked at the cv boots, axles and felt of them and the drive shaft and all seem to be firm with no shake.
This squeal has been going on for 2 months or so. It has not become worse at all in this timeframe.
Just and aggravating squeal, sounds like a brake or bearing squeal.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
T.

Sometimes the dust seal on the axle, where it goes into the back of the wheel bearing assembly, will squeal. Usually it's not very loud but can be irritating.
If you look in behind the wheel you should be able to see the seal. Pry it away from the back of the wheel bearing, gently, and spray some grease in there and see what happens.
On the end of the diff. passenger side, there is a dust seal inside the diff. (tube). It has come loose and spinning inside the diff. I shot some grease on it with a neddle fitting last night and drove it home, no squeal.
Now I have got to get the exploded veiw from Ford on the diff to know what I need to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated!!
T.
