What sensor is this

Was thinking it might be the ipr but it was not. It is located on the passenger side right above the gpcm. I took it out and it looked like maybe it was for? Any help is great. Also I was wanting to check/ clean my ipr valve but can not see it anywhere. Any ideas

The sensor in the passenger side valve cover is the ICP sensor. It means you have an 04 and up engine. The IPR valve is on the drivers side under the FICM behind the turbo and is easier to access from underneath the truck. You'll have remove the rear heat shield to access it IIRC.

I'm not sure I'd take it out if it wasn't giving you problems. If the oil cooler has been replaced and you're having ICP issues then I'd take it out and check it for sure. The fine mesh screen can get covered and/or compromised and is replaceable. If it has a hole and the IPR is still working consider yourself lucky.
