7.3 miss when wiper

Has anyone had problems with 1999 or later 7.3 missing or dying when you turn on the wiper switch? Thanks.

I have read about others having that issue and the CPS was at fault. Has yoir truck had the CPS recall done yet?

yes , there are a couple of write ups here about that problem . I think , as stated above , the cam sensor is the problem .

Order 2, one for the replacement and one to keep in the glove box. What color is yor current CPS?

It did code the cam sensor but I was told that that code comes up on any misfire. But I will replace it because it won't hurt. It's not to expensive. Thanks.

Swap that logic. Use the OEM one as the primary and the BWD as the spare. Or better yet, get two OEM and return the BWD.

I used a BWD with no issues for a good length of time, but others report different results.
