Has anyone had any issues programming their homelink to their garage?

I have a liftmaster 8550 with battery backup and I have tried to program the homelink with the instructions in the manual for the truck and the manual for the opener...

I have done this with 2 other vehicles with no issues -- any ideas?

Yes - havign done 4 or 5 other fords and 2 or three gm's for the kids...

I had issues with my platinum and had the salesmen come to the house to do it

(good when you've bought 4 vehicles from him over the last year - he works for me! )

2012 SD and Liftmaster 8500, no problems here, just follow the instructions in the owners manual

 

I tried that. Followed the instructions in the ford manual for homelink. Is that the ones you used?
