Yeah lol. Bent the snot out of the driveshaft so we had to replace the whole thing and weld a plate over the hole in the floor. That wasn't good enough and eventually rotted out to the point it left me with this (as it currently sits):

Front hubs are always locked on it. Other than that I don't know what he was doing, I wasn't with him. I just know what happened cause I had to help fix it. It wasn't far away from home though, it was just up the road luckily.
I live in New York. Scary weather up here as far as snow and it saw mud a lot back then. Plus, when they are always locked I don't have to get out when I want 4WD, I can just put the T-case in 4H or 4L and go without having to worry.
Got a new tube for the driveshaft and rebalanced. We are good to go! Guess the ding on the old tube threw it out of whack. So the old wore out u joints were probably masking the vibration.
