I say it all the time...the Raptor is the coolest and most capabable production rig, but it's still just that...a production rig. The Raptor isn't the offroad monster it's hyped to be. I'd still prefer to buy a 5k truck, sink 20k in it, and have a more capable rig, with as much comfort, for half the price.

Yeah, but then you wouldn't have the image and we all know, looks are more important than substance.
I agree, sink $25K into a project, you'll have something that is much more capable, much more bullet proof and you built it yourself, you didn't just whip out the checkbook and say I'll take that one.
Plus, you do it this way there's no depreciation, warranty problems or insurance problems and save $20K in the process.
