The ICP Pig tail from ford
5c3Z-122224A connector-3- $ 83.33
I called our ford dealer here about a cross over Number they said no crossover that this # fits all 6.0 years , there could be a after market # . Hokie you may want to call International the price might be a little lower or even Riff Raff diesel Products.
Hmmm... well this afternoon, after three days of NOT doing it... it did it again. I started it and hopped out to go get something I forgot in the house and heard it rev up briefly. Only once though... a bit odd. When I got to my destination, I stopped, spent about 45 minutes there, then got ready to leave again. Started her up... and she choked out. To the point where she stalled. That was a first. Started her right back up and drove off. I drove another 40 miles or so in stop and go traffic and hwy alike with no further symptoms. The ICP voltage is less than 1.0 ANY time my foot's off the accelerator.
My local dealership has the ICP pig tail for $66 so I"m going to swing by tomorrow and pick one up. Their service dept is open on Sats too so I'm going to have them change the fuel filters and oil while I'm at it. I suppose I won't know what cured it if I do that, but it's about due and I'm methodical about my maintenance.
This Is the Point of trying to save $$$ . the Icp connection really is no big deal to change. dealer will get ya . Mark ( bizmic gave a link for the better) . Thanks Mark

Oh no, I'd definitely do the pigtail myself for sure. They're running a special on service though, and for $140 I can get the oil changed and fuel filters while I'm at it. I'm not 100% sure, but I didn't think I could do it myself cheaper enough to justify the expense.
I guess the justification for buying OEM today rather than saving 50% and ordering online is the fear of having it crap out on the highway on Tuesday and have to get it towed somewhere. Am I overthinking that?
Lots of people using Alliant Power connectors. The Auto Parts stores can probably match the part also, but best of luck with whatever.
Good to know. I have an Advance, Auto Zone and O'Reilly's within 2 miles of me and a Napa about 3 miles away. I'll swing by there on the way to the dealership for the oil change and see what they have. Thanks again for the link and part numbers!

Just an FYI. That $140 is probably 15w40 dino oil. Not sure where you live but 5w40 will be best in the Winter months which is where we're headed. Full Synthetic is $19-26 per gallon.
Hokie, when you do this use a sharp utility knife and carefully slice the wire harness down to where it meets the rest of the wires you will go through the ford wrap its pretty tough stuff, I pulled the GP plugs and rolled the harness up, at this point it will be upside down, dont forget to put the heat wrap on the wires before crimping together, I crimped all three out of the truck on the pigtail first then heat shield then crimped to the harness ( do a wire pull test ) before you heat shrink and tape it all back up, I had broke my clip to the GP relay so had to zip tie it tight. I used a long BBQ lighter to melt the heat shrink good luck my friend and let us know the Out come.
Just as an update to this thread, I unplugged the factory ICP pigtail, expecting to see a mess and honestly it looked brand new. I brushed it lightly with a brass bristle brush (say that 5 times fast) and plugged it back in. It hasn't happened since (going on just over a week). I bought the pigtail and have it on hand, but the ICPV isn't dropping below .80 on low idle. The very next time it happens, I'll do the deed and update again.
As another update to the thread, I replaced the pigtail finally and it's done nothing for my readings. I'm still dropping down to .80 from time to time and hanging anywhere from .96 to 2.4 with any bit of gas applied.
It hasn't surged or lurched in weeks and has been running well. Weird.
