So my engine is in! SIGH. And it seems to be purring like a kitten. I know I didn't post pictures but I have been nonstop with everything from dawn till dusk for weeks and I just didn't have time. But here's one of of the engine below.
Anyways, so it went in like a charm. But the power steering pressure hose or whatever it's actually called blew like old faithful all over the place. Does anyone know if there's anywhere online to get one? I will scour, but I wanted to ask you guys first. It's the line that runs the fluid and has a little section of rubber hose where it has a bit of pressure "give" I think, that's where it blew out. But there's also metal line to it as well. For a 73 F250 runnning a 390. We can't seem to track one down out of the gate, and I want to see if I can just buy one somewhere before I attempt to have someone build one. I'm not going to be able to drive this rig around town without power steering, she's too much. But I drove her! Some little things to address(stuck in 4wd, brakes) but then I'll get some images up, just glad she's finally coming together before winter.
Winter Is Coming.
Oh, and I have a sweet wire loom on there now, before you give me hell for that.
I'm not sure. I think this might be it. But someone on my end had already called NAPA about it and they said they didn't have anything, but after you linked that I found this one, which could be it. Thanks. I guess I'll see! NAPA AUTO PARTS
