95 E 150 power steering hose question
I replaced my power steering pump now getting ready to put on the new power steering hoses and wondering if at the gear end inlet and outlet ports where the hoses attach with flarenuts are there supposed to be o-rings installed in the ports where they connect or does nothing go there and just attach the line and tighten the flare nuts. Reason Im asking in the ports where the line attaches the a small tube that looks like an o-ring or seal would be fitted. If there is an o-ring that should be put in there Im guessing it needs to be something that would stand up to pressure and oil, is this correct?
