swapping '99 van engine into L99 SD
Hi
I just bought a '99 van engine minus the turbo to replace my tired, dusted engine.
What needs to be swapped over from the old engine to make this work? I have heard that some brackets may be different and that the right exhaust manifold is different in the van.
I will be using my own hpop and recent injectors for this new engine.

hi
i will be using my own turbo/pedestal. this is such a great opportunity to do up pipes so will do that as well.
can the van manifolds be used? i hate the thought of a broken bolt taking out the old ones.

Ive had the beat luck remiving manifolds when I cut the bolt between the head and the manifold
There is an opening there ... on the ines without openings try traditional method or grind off the bolt head
The manifold bolts usually seize to the manifold not in the head
