4x4 front hub question

local shop claims there are a few different varieties of the front hub...(different spline or bearing type perhaps)...difference in cost is significant.

searching up front hub parts, i can certainly see a difference in price, but im at a loss for whats different?

is there a quick and easy breakdown of the different hub types on these trucks?

mine have manual locks btw...if that matters?

04 has fine thread studs.

They changed I think late 02-early 03 from coarse threads to fine threads.
Course thread hubs seemed to be more when I was looking.

I think A1 auto was cheapest for the hubs with timken brand bearings. They seem to be the ones that last longer, or you could go the dyna trac free spin kits, $$ about 1800 and have repackable, replaceable bearings.
