hello everyone
I just got done installing my new warn hubs. the installation went awesome I put the tire back on and noticed that I had a lot of up and down movement in the hub. the hub assembly or wheel barrings are shot. I got a lot of miles on these since I replaced them last I can't remember what brand they are and was wondering what the best hub assembly or wheel bearing brand is for a 2000 f 250 7.3 4 x 4. we have a napa o'reillys advanced auto parts and carquest here in town.
okay after looking around and doing some research I'm guessing timkin hub assembly are the best ones to get from what I have been reading on other posts, is this correct? if so I have found some at autozone in town for 163.99. but I do have a question the lady asked if they were fine thread or coarse thread studs. I have to drive my truck to get the hubs so I need to know before I get it all a part.
just take a look under your truck and see what you have. I also got new nuts, just to avoid the hassel of having to remove the old ones from the studs. If you do that. I doubt it would matter which you got.
On my '01, I got the coarse thread if that matters at all.
