I have a question on replacement parts for the front hub. Replacing the hub is easy as I have already done that on my 2000 Exploder. The only difference is I will have much more access room to do it on the SD.
When I look online at NAPA I see some front hubs listed with "coarse threads" in addition to the normal selections of w/ABS or without etc. The prices also seem to correspond to these differences as well. They go from $263ish-just under $400.
Any thoughts on the coarse thread option would be appreciated.
Early trucks, like yours, had 1.5mm pitched threads on the wheel studs. Later models...after 02 I think...got 2.0mm pitched threads. Your 01 should need the "course" thread hub.
