Thanks Benny I'm gonna try the BB. My pressure isn't terrible anyway it runs about 55. I have a box of BB's that are 4.5 mm and I will look it up to see if that is .187. You guys are a great help.
Is there any way to know/find out if this mod has been done without disassembling things?
I would say NO. The only important thing here is that your fuel pressure is at an acceptable level. It will take about an hour to check it out IF you have the proper wrenches for the fuel lines.

Thanks for the info. npccpartsman. Right now I've got a more pressing issue with the FICM, it wants to go see Ed so I have to reconcile that with the pocket book. I'm reading about all the different mods i.e. Blue spring, egr delete, and so on to this motor and I'm wondering what I've gotten myself into.

Keeping up with the maintenance is the MOST important thing. NOT driving it like a smart car is the second. These trucks can be driven and worked HARD if you don't abuse them. They actually like to be worked.
