Blue spring ???

I had the dealer rebuild my fuel pressure regulator a year ago, does the motorcraft regulator rebuild kit come with the "blue spring" that is recommended on here? There was a blue spring in the package, just want to make sure it is the right one, and not an aftermarket part. Thanks

They should have put the blue spring in -- it's the aftermarket ones that usually aren't blue. Oh and also the blue does come off the spring while it is in service, so you'd have to measure one if you pulled it apart to check (blue spring is longer than stock one).

If you have your invoice, just google the part number, then again since you saw the blue spring in the package it would have been the updated spring and that is what they should put back in...

The "blue spring" everyone is always talking about is a genuine International part. It's not aftermarket. So if you bought the kit at Ford or International, you have the right one.
