Hi, I am finishing the restoration of my 77 f250 and would like to change most of the visible bolts under the hood to stainless, is there anyone selling a kit out there that would cover what I'm looking for? Thnx. Frank

Be aware of stainless. Most stainless is half the strength of regular steel bolts. Yellow zinc grade 8 bolts are cheap and hold up rather well to corrosion. If you choose stainless use anti sieze. Also do not use nylocks they gall the bolts and will lock and fail.

Ok now I am going to be a pain... Can anyone please tell me the sizes and lengths of all the visible bolts under the hood on these trucks? Like the fenders, rad support, inner fenders, hood etc. I found a good site called east coast bolts, but i need to tell them sizes....any help will be appreciated, thnx, frank

Dude! Buy a bolt checker and size them yourself. If you don't know how it's time to learn. They sell bolt checkers at boltdepot.com.
I still wouldn't recommend stainless bolts, unless its for low strength applications. Any kind of body work or structural areas I wouldn't use stainless for. You'll learn the hard way if you do.
Thank you.... That's all I was looking for! Not some smart *** punk answers ! I'm on bronco graveyard now, some great stuff on there!
Thnx again. Frank
I do think most bolts under the hood are 5/16. I think they vary from 3/4" to 1 1/4" in length. I also think there are a few 3/8 too. I always seemed to need some bolts so having extra never hurts. those kits at JBG are pretty good. I used one of their complete indexed bolt kit
I have a set I bought a year ago from a guy on e-bay. He no longer sells them, but 90% of them are 5/16-18 x 1 1/4 long for the front clip area. Inner fenders, outer fenders, radiator support, etc. There are a few that are 1/4-20 and a couple 3/8-16.
