Alright, I am gonna bring this thread back up. 2ndStroke, I like your light setup, it does look a little less goofy. I wonder if I can somehow wire it up so that the bulb it takes is a normal headlight bulb. Anybody have any thoughts on these? I agree with the OP, these trucks don't put out enough light.

Thats what I want to do flip the headlight and turn signal. The headlight quality is a big flop! I have the navigation screen and that blinds me. Its so bad with reflection inside from the navigation and **** poor headlights I cant drive the truck at night

My truck puts out enough light at night, look at post #12

No idea on wiring in new bulbs though.

What do you guys think of these retro fit kits? Looks like you alter your housing to accept the new projector HID

I did this with 05-07 housings and the difference in output is much better. I attempted the retro myself but was not as sucessful as I wanted to be, so I took my truck to a company called lightwerkz and had them redo it. I have.pictures in my build thread and on lightwerkz website for reference
