2011 & up headlight options

Is thete a company that makes a replacement headliggt not the projection ones either. Im looking for an oem look a like except I want the headlight bulb where the turn signal.is and the turn signal back below the headlight. When the lights are on it looks damn goofy Ford botched that design up bad in my opinion.

I've never seen any aftermarket headlights like you describe. It's a safety thing; the turn signal was above the headlight starting in 2008 in order to keep the headlights at a safe level. Higher up is more likely to blind others on the road.

I don't think they botched anything up; form follows function and safety is more important than aesthetics every time.

You get used to them. I think it was a good move so other drivers are not blinded.

If anyone finds a headlight let me know. Ford did this back in the 70's it was just as ugly then that's why they went back to traditional

Why did you buy it then if it bugs you so much? Should have bought a restored 70's pickup with the lights you like.

Anyways put a yellow tint on them. I just did my truck in a yellow tint. Did my wife's flex in a violet last year.

I said the 70s had the headlights below the turn signals and nobody licked it then, Ford changed it back in 1978 and its been that way to 2007. I bought it because I like the truck and Im going to find a way to put the headlight back on top

I can't see the lights when I'm driving the truck. Least of my concerns. All I care about is that the headlights and the turn signals work.

What are those led switchbacks??? These lights SUCK. first time driving to work they shine far but low like a fog light. They dont light up enough beyond the white line for rural driving. I need to see beyond the ditch there are so many deer where I live. I really gotta do something with the lights to move them up. I like lighrs shining down at night not shinning up. Thats why plows have roof lights, same as our trail groomer. Its a proven fact lights mounted higher provide better visibility

Yes, they do provide more usable light but there is a safety factor. I'm off the opinion that all super duty lights have sucked because if they were to make the headlights function as well as some ither housings it would blind all incoming drivers. Don't forget support duty headlights are about 3.5-4 feet in the air. And they are aimed at a downward angle more aggressively then other headlights on cars for instance because of that. If you have such a huge issue with the light out put that can be fixed with aiming them a little more precisely and better output bulbs. Or you could just use the switch backs like 2ndstroke(speaking of which ones did you use) and not worry about it any more.

They don't provide any more light I don't think, just makes them look less goofy, which was what I thought you were looking for.

Switchbacks and hids

2ndStoke, did you have to put in load resistors or an led flash mod? Thanks.
