Recon projector headlights

Hey all!

Just wondering whose done the swap to the projector headlights. I see two options for the 11+ trucks... LED or CCFL halos...

The one thing I hate about our headlights is the gaudy amber turn signal light above our headlights... Do either of these get rid of that?

What's your opinions on either?

I don't think recon gets rid of the yellow, the stock turning bulb is reused. A few guys have the recons in the 6.7 section.

I didn't like the yellow either.

2nd Stroke that looks killer! So what did you do for turn signals?? Please give up the info on that sick looking headlight setup??

They are led "switchbacks". They stay 6,000 k like they are in the pic for your driving lights and they switch to amber, and flash when you use your turning signals

that is neat, but check your local DOT for legality

The heads and fogs hid kits? I used retro-solutions, but I will never recommend them to anyone, sorry I'm looking for a new company as well.

So what's needed to change this out?

I've already done the HID conversion on my heads and fogs...

Is this another conversion on the turn signals or just a bulb to LED plug and play replacement?

Where did you buy from?

Plug and play off eBay, plus something to prevent hyper flash, ie. wire in resistors.

Awesome. What do I need to search for on eBay? "Led switchbacks" and separately "wire resistors"? Are there different plug sizes or types or are they universal?

And then just be sure to get 6000k so it matches my lights and fogs?

Ya my set came with the resistors, but I think there are other ways to prevent the hyperflash. I just typed f250 switchbacks I think

I'm seeing a ton for bulb 3157 replacement but I don't see any with wire resistors... I also don't see where it says 6000k. Only "white color"

Question - at night both the white color and your headlight is on at the same time?

How's that look?
