leaf springs

I bought a 1993 f350 with a 4 inch rough country lift and the name says it all the front springs have no give to them at all my question is is there anything that I can do to soften up the ride and still be safe to drive they are a 5 leaf spring to long main leaves then 3 that taper down u cant hardly drive the truck it bounces when u hit a bump in the road im going to eventually get a shackle reversal and new springs just not till next summer any input would be appreciated thanks
