Okay before i start i know keep to the same thread but i reply on the old one and no one answers so i start new ones. Now down to business. As most of you know ive been tackling this transmission issue in my 1995 f150 5.8 e4od 4x4. I first started with MLPS changed it still same issue. Next Solenoid Pack still same issue. Then i changed transmissions it now has a e4od 4x4 with 62k and a upgraded torque converter still the same issue i did use the old solenoid pack out of the original e4od (not the new one) and the old transfer case. I checked fluid -full, check the sensor behind the speedo doesnt seem to be broken or damaged. I just changed my PCM, the issue got alittle better but its still present. I dont know what to look or do next. Any help is very much appreciated. Ps. I changed the tps and vss there are no codes and both seem to be fine according to eletrical test. Again any advice is appreciated.
you need to find a donor eec out of a 5.8 e4od truck that you know works and swap it to see if your problem goes away. you've inherited the same symptoms (i have no idea what they are) with a different trans and setup, so its a good possibility that the eec is the culprit.
i see that you changed the pcm. . .what did you put in there?
