Replacement Vacuum Lines

Anyone know of a good site to get vacuum lines lines from? My 1996 has several that are failing and need replacing. I looked on LMC and NPD. Is this something that an auto parts store would carry or am I destined for the junk yard?

thx

You should be able to replace your vacuum lines with standard rubber lines from any auto parts store. Are your original lines the color coded plastic? If so, then I don't believe you can replace those back to original.

Yeah they are color coded plastic, and dry rotted in places. Guess I'll head to advanced...thanks!

Mine were all like that when I got it. Brittle and filled with hairline cracks. Went down and got around 20 - 30' of vacuum line and just replaced it all. It ran SO much better.

Vacuum hoses.

I took a picture of the vacuum diagram from the hood. Then numbered each end of each hose on the printout. Used electrical number tags on each hose and replaced them one at a time. I THINK the hose is 3/32". Use some Tees where needed.

Makes it run better.
