Battery leaking

If you have corrosion on the terminals than the battery is junk.. I had corrosion on my hold down bracket and my dealer replaced my battery and bracket under warranty. I check my batteries once a month. I clean the engine and look it over for bad belts and hoses. If you do that you will discover problems in your driveway instead of on the side of the road.

My 2015 did this too... on both batteries, less than two years old. Luckily I caught it before it corroded the cable clamps to the point of breakage.
I cleaned them several times, but it kept coming back.
The issue was a gap developed between the positive terminal posts and the plastic body of the battery itself, letting acid gases escape.
Both batteries were eventually replaced under warranty.
I check them frequently and keep a layer of terminal protection gel smeared on them.

I just took my 2019 in today and dealer replaced driver battery for leak and it failed their test. There was corrosion on bottom of clamp, they cleaned it and put it back on, they would not replace. I was in and out in about 45 minutes so I was happy.
