Battery leakage
We noticed a corrosion leak under the battery and took it to the dealer who also noticed that the acid had leaked onto the wheel well below. He replaced the battery and ordered a new battery box and holder. When that part came in less than a week later we were told to take it to a body shop that the dealer contracts with to have it repaired. We hadn't looked at the leak since the battery was replaced but now it is evident that battery acid leaked everywhere, the corrosion is on everything in sight!
Body shop guy says this will cause problems later on with most everything, wires, hoses, who knows what.
Help - Guidance needed. Dealer looking puzzled. Not offering much but to replace battery and mount.

I would complain like crazy!!! This truck is still under factory warranty. Complain COMPLAIN - COMPLAIN. But do it nicely! Call area Ford rep in if necessary to look at damage. They should repair anything damaged or offer a buyback and replace vehicle. If it was the battery's fault, call that manufacturer into play... YOu should not have to pay ANYTHING to get this repaired!
