So my radiator busted this weekend. 1970 f100 with 300 (was a 240 till a few weeks ago). I have a radiator support out of a 73-79 model. The radiator in it now is full width of the opening. 26.5" core. 28 7/8" bolt hole opening. I think the number on the current radiator is D3TA-BFA
I was just going to replace it with an original '70 300 radiator, but when it came in from autozone, the flanges to mount it were on the engine side of the radiator. They really didn't know what to do. I looked at some big block ones and from the pictures the flanges looked right, but the outlet on the bottom was on the wrong side. The waterpump on the 300 exits on the passenger side.
If you don't care about original try a Champion aluminum radiator part number CC833. Just installed one on my '67 with 240 and love it. Available for $224 on ebay.
I got mine from a fellow FTE member. I was unable to find anything other than the small backwards one for less than $400. Once the rain stops I will see if I can get a make and part # off it for you.
