Cant find correct radiator for 74 f100

Hey all, having a problem finding a new radiator for my 74 f100. Auto, 360, factory air. My radiator was leaking so I pulled it and sent it to a radiator shop. Not fixable, wanted over $300 for a new one. Well, I really like newer style aluminum radiators, put one in my bronco last year. Bought on eBay, cooled way better than the copper one and under $200. So I ordered one. Wrong size, way too small. Nobody shows a radiator anywhere near this size for this truck. Overall dimensions are 30 1/2" tall and 30 1/2" wide including brackets. This is definitely the factory radiator, so why can't anyone find me the correct radiator? Anyone else had this issue?

Those are 26 1/2" x 29 1/2" . Mine is quite a bit bigger. That's the same radiator they sent me.

It says with minor bracket modification. This radiator will work fine.

It is significantly smaller. The shroud won't fit at all, sticks down way past the bottom and completely blocks the lower radiator hose on this radiator. I'm sure it will cool the truck but it doesn't fit properly.

you must have the Super Cool radiator. Very common on the camper specials and F350's

Ah, cool. Ill have to see if that will help them find me the right one. Thank you. It doesn't have any badges saying camper special but it is a factory AC truck, maybe it was optional. Ill also check the glove compartment to see if there's any mention of it in the paperwork. The owners manual and some other stuff is still in there.

If you want to keep the aluminum one you got, they do still make fan shrouds. You can just get a smaller one.

Then, yep, you have the HD cooling or "Super Cool" radiator.

Well, it appears the fun part is finding a new one. I ordered one from a seller on eBay and it was too small, returned it and bought an all aluminum one locally, similar size but needs trimming to fit which voids warranty. Only other option I've found is a copper one which I don't want that is $300!!! Anybody know of a place that sells the super cool radiator in aluminum?

Why dont you want the Brass/Copper one? I dont think anyone makes a "Super Cool" radiator. Contact Griffin or Be Cool and see if they will build you one...but hang on to your shorts!

You do understand it doesn't HAVE to be the same size? You can order a smaller shroud and make it look correct. No need to spend a ton of cash to get a humongous radiator.

Yes, I fully understand that. Lets just work on the assumption I want the big radiator. Bigger is better, especially in south Texas. I want it to be able to idle for an hour with the AC blowing cold and not get warm. I'd prefer the aluminum because they are so much lighter and cool awesome. the last one I got is basically the super cool one but some brackets need to be cut off which will void the warranty, was hoping for a direct bolt in but it may not be possible for a reasonable amount of money
