VIN series code of F26 does not decode to 'pickup' until 1973. In fact, no series code of any year F100/350 decodes to pickup until 1973.
VIN series code could apply to any of the following thru 1972: Cab & Chassis, Flareside/Styleside pickups, with factory installed Flat & Stake Beds and as Open Drive-Away Chassis & Cowl and Cowl & Windshield.
1969 F100/750 serial number range: D82,001 - G30,000 (see parts catalog pic).
1966/69 Warranty Plate: 1st line: Warranty Number // 2nd line: W.B. / COLOR / MODEL / BODY / TRANS / AXLE // 3rd line: MAX G.V.W. LBS. / CERT. NET H.P. / RPM / DSO
It's not unusual to find 1968 and later non Crew Cabs that were ordered from, for examples, Atlanta & Pittsburgh to be assembled in Canada.
AFAIK, all 1965/79 Crew Cabs were assembled at the Oakville Ontario Canada Truck Assembly Plant. Today the Edge and its 'rebadged' Lincoln brother are assembled there.

People replaced damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
If the VIN's match, post all the codes stamped on the Warranty Plate.

Bought it online A1 Cardone brake booster with master Cylinder from OREILLY's Auto Parts. Bought bracket on ebay. Everything fits great. Needs the right pedal now. Just can't locate one. Is modifing the one I got or the booster an option?
