Also, seeing the trucks with the 6" lifts and 37's makes me want to go that route, but the truck would be worthless for towing a trailer then or using the bed at all. That would lift my truck another 3" over the lift it already has. Also, I think I'm gonna get some new tires as well. My Toyo M/T's are down to about 6/32" or so of tread so they don't look nearly as aggressive as they did new. Without a doubt I'll be getting M/T's again, A/T's just can't pull off a lifted truck.
I didn't read every post, so sorry if its been mentioned already, black window visors would look kool on that truck. Looks good now tho. Are you going to post pics after upgrades ?
Where did you guys find your tailgates? I can find new take offs without the step or camera for 500 and with step for about 900. I can't find any cheap complete units. Even just a shell is like 300.
First of all truck looks GREAT! Me personally I hate the clear lights and dark smoked lights, they don't fit any vehicle. I drive and own a semi have pics in my profile can't figure out how to get the pics on the thread though., I love lights! I see a lot of lights being on the road. I think that King-bRanch nailed it with the tail lights! LED is the way to go and possibly a light smoke along with 3rd brake. They are a lot of $$ but well worth it in the end. The smoke on the mirrors is fine that works, I like it. As for the chrome or yellow goes, they both work great. Get the second painted and go back and forth with it, always nice to have a change up after a year or so. Paint the fenders, my friend did it but with blue, It works well in the paint scheme. DON'T GET DARK SMOKE OR CLEAR TAILLIGHTS!!!!

That is my 2 cents.
Love it and want see more!
To get the pictures use photobucket and just copy the image file over into your reply.
As far as the tail lights i agreed, i think a light smoke will fit nicely but if anything i personally would go with the regular red LED tail lights still LEDs look killer at night. I love them especially on the semi trucks that have them all over...makes me want a semi just to put lights on lol.

Thanks for the help on the picks. I'll try and get that mastered.
You and me both love those led lights!
Definitely going to go with a tail that's still red. I can't decide whether to get smoked red or just plain red. I'll get the third brake light that matches as well. The fender flares will get painted to match for sure and my spare mirror caps will get painted to match as well while that's being done. I'm still on the hunt for the 08+ tailgate and chrome rear bumper.
I got a screaming deal for my tailgate just by surfing craigslist daily. However it seems they average 400-1000. 400 being basic and 1000 with step and camera. The handle can be purchased through Rock Auto(site sponsor) for $50. Not sure about the camera itself though.
Yea, I'm just gonna keep watching Craiglist. Anyone who actually sells them wants too much for them. I don't need the camera as there's tons of aftermarket options for that thing, but the step you pretty much need.
Your truck is looking great, and you have good taste with your changes on it!
Now for a few more ideas for you to ponder:
I think a Harley grill would look great with your Harley headlights.
For the tail lights, go with stock 08+ and put some high quality led bulbs in them, I use bulbs from v-leds which are very bright and look great: VLEDS
And here is a video of them in the 08 style housings:
Cablights really give the truck a great look at night, if you do add cablights be sure to get the factory Ford set, then get a set of Recon smoked covers for them. The Recon led cablight set is not very good quality at all!
Seeing your truck makes me wish mine was yellow, then it would look so much better hauling my quad around:
I do like those color changing bulbs. I've thought about just snipping the one leg off the bulb so that they only blink, but the yellow goes pretty well with the truck. I've got 08+ tails now, they're just tinted. I may just get the smoked LED red tails and sell these. I like them a lot.
Greg do you have any pictures of those with your headlights one? I watched that video i don't know how many times when i was debating about getting switchbacks lol. Only thing i couldn't find was a video or picture with both on on an 05-07 truck.

Here you go, I have 5k hid's in my headlights and use the v-leds 5k switchbacks:
