I have a 95 F-150 that has a bad vibration in the 45-50mph range. It is only felt under normal driving. If I accellerate quickly I don't feel it. Replacing the tires and rims made no difference. I read the previous post concerning vibration, but my problem is a little different. I thought one of you may have had the same problem in the past. Any help is appreciated.

did you check the u joints first off. Secondly check how the tranny fluid and gear lube in the rear end look. if either of those look bad theirs a possibility that theres some mechanical failure eminnent in one of them, but remember, cause the fluid looks good doesn't mean there isn't still something wrong with them. But its a start.

hey thought of something else.
The transmission mount maybe bad since you don't feel the vibration when you floor it. The transmission maybe rocking in its cradle. Or one of the motor mounts could be bad.

I don't feel the vibration coming from any particular area. It feels like the cab is shaking left to right. I have replaced the u-joints and checked the fluid in the rear end. I have not checked the motor or tranny mounts. There seems to be a lot of slack around the yoke of the transmission, but I don't know how much is too much.
