Wheel & tire OD? Rear gear? Is it accurate? I have the steel driven gear/s and am looking to see if I can get something accurate. I don't have a speedo and would like to run an aftermarket 1000 rpm unit. So I have to figure out what my drive gear is and whether or not one of the driven gears I have will get me in the ballpark. I have a t98
I saved this truck off a ranch. The tires don't match. I am just glad to have the speedo working. I'll worry about accuracy once I decide on tires and gears.
My driven gear is steel also. I have not had much luck finding replacements.

I've found 'em @ Pull & Save. I prolly have all of 'em now. 19, 20 & 22.
But WTF is the drive gear?
I've found several parts at dennis-carpenter.com I have a '60 F600 with the 292 motor and same transmission. I believe the cable is effective for up to '60 but be careful, the cable for a 4spd is different than the 3 spd. Last time I looked they were out of stock on the 4spd cable though.
