Any suggestions on where to find replacement tailgate for "wrong body"? Any used ones out there or buy new? If so where? Thanks.
How bad is your tailgate? Post a picture and maybe you will get some comments from the tin guys on cost to repair it. Thelocal body guy told me he can repair the tailgate and hood on my 6 F250. I had given them up for scrap. See picture below.
They are being repoped I have seen some of the repop suppliers on line showing them in the catalog. I don't remember who it was I cant help you with that. So far Ive found the ones I need so wasn't paying that close attention. Im not sure of the fit.
Bill, you probably have answered this before but if you have I can't find the line... why again did ford do the "wrong body" configuration? Thanks. i appreciate your commitment to this crazy but addictive stuff.

Readily available 'wrong' Styleside beds. 1961/63 F100/250 2WD Uni's had their beds welded to the cab, couldn't be used on anything else.
