F-250 tailgate
Hi all again! I got a 1986 F-250 from a buddy. The tailgate was being held on by a few bungee cords. When another buddy and I took it off completely, we noticed that all the guts on the tailgate were trashed. The hinges, the gate latch, all of it. So we called around to some junkyards and other auto places, and nobody has got them! Does anyone here have any ideas on what I should do now? Thanks in advance!

Theres about 300 million old fords out there, theres gotta be one with a tailgate somewhere.
A tailgate from 1980 to 1996 will fit on your truck, some will require slight modifications but nothing major, its a simply job.

WHat you need I have 10 rusted out ones laying in back for 90 up . Guts are there Also chang to 92 up style mounts and latches . I know you can get parts on eBay
No take along ride I know you will see a truck sitting to buy parts off of. Last time I was out there there were trucks sitting out by barns on farms
